Insulated metal panels in their simplest form are rigid foam sandwiched between two sheets of coated metal. Steel
panel facings create a vapor, air, and moisture barrier and provide long-term thermal stability. The panels are
produced in a variety of styles and sizes depending on application. Panels are then cut to length, packaged, and
distributed to construction sites.
CENTRIA products are used in a multitude of building coverage applications and offer a wide range of benefits,
including aesthetics, durability, rain screening, fireproofing, and reduced energy costs, with each product type offering
its own unique properties.
This EPD focuses on the Formawall Dimension Series (non-profiled and profiled) IMP products as seen in Table 1. A
flow diagram depicting the manufacturing process can be found in Figure 3.
